 Jang Young-won's mother, Shin Jung-sook, was selected as a remembrance of August, selected by the National Daejeon Cemetery. Born on May 12, 1910, in Euiju, North Pyongan Province, she was born to two daughters of eight brothers and sisters. Since 1942, she became a member of the 3rd division of the 2nd zone of Gwangbok-gun in 1942. In both front and rear, they joined forces with Chinese guerrillas to promote independence, including intelligence gathering and propaganda, and died in 1997. In 1963, the government recognized the work of the new governor and awarded her the Patriot of Order.
